Research: Drinking Green Tea For Younger Looking Skin!

Clinical evidence suggests that green tea is packed with health and beauty benefits.

Recent research shows that green tea contains a cocktail of potent antioxidants called catechins, which help protect the body from free radicals - naturally occurring particles in the body associated with accelerated ageing and an increased risk of major diseases.

Exposure to pollution and smoking increases the number of free radicals in the blood but the most common cause of free radicals in skin cells is UV radiation from sunlight, which causes up to 90% of all signs of premature aging.

However, the potent antioxidants found in green tea add strong weight to the belief that green tea not only promotes good health but also makes you look younger!

Green tea can help us retain the precious elasticity in our skin, and since elastic skin has fewer wrinkles than non-elastic skin that is something we can drink to. If you find the taste of green tea is too bland, you can always make your own green tea crème brûlée.
